We went to lunch with Mommy's sorority sisters today. It was a beautiful day to sit outside at Zoe's.

Emily Anne, Jake and I had fun looking at all of the animals at the zoo. A monkey even smiled at us!

Shelby is getting bigger every day. She is smiling and cooing. She will pay attention to you when you are talking to her. She will respond in her own way with different sounds. The speech pathologist in me is very proud. She is still not very fond of tummy time. She loves her bath time. She looks in the mirror the whole time. She has discovered her hands and loves to suck her fingers. We are so blessed!

Spring Fever

Mommy loves Spring! She got this headband for me at Cottontails!I think Mommy needs to put on sunscreen when she goes to the beach!! ( I did put on sunscreen but it was SPF 4).

I am ready to hit the beach...but I need to get a little older. So I guess a walk around the neighborhood will do.

Mrs. MacNeil and Mrs. Cahoon had a Sip-n-See party for me. Lots of Mommy's friends came to meet me.What is with all of these boys?!? Mac, Taylor, Brady and Jackson are going to be my best buds.

Shelby tried out her bumbo seat this morning. She really liked sitting up. It is definitely better than tummy time!

Cole and I went on a walk. I can't wait for the weather to stay warm so we can go again.

I hope Taylor and Mac take me to the beach when we get bigger! (They live in Pensacola with Mommy's friends, Miss Kelly and Miss Rachael)

Shelby visited Pensacola for the first time. Brad had to stay in Bham because he wasn't feeling well. We had a fun trip. Shelby slept most of the way. We stopped once for both of us to eat. Shelby met Margaret, Greg, Julie, Neal, Courtney, Libby, Maddie, Jason, Frances, Lacy, Loni, Katy, Mac, Kelly, Taylor, and Philip for the first time. She also got to see Goggy, Wanda and Rachael again. She enjoyed going to Jerry's, Bagelheads and The Crab Trap to watch Mommy and Nina & Poppi eat some good Pensacola food. Sadly we did miss the snow. Shelby can't wait to see her boyfriends again soon.

Today I weighed 8 pounds and 12 ounces!!! I am getting so big. I even rolled over for the doctor. I also had 5 shots in my legs. It was not fun. But hopefully I won't have to go back to the doctor until April.

Discovery Weekend

Brad and I participated in Discovery Weekend at RUMC last weekend. This is an awesome spiritual weekend that focuses on showing the love of Christ to our middle school students. The high school students share individual testimonies and help lead small group discussions.
